Wheel info - centre bore diameter?
in Anything Eriba-related Tue Jul 15, 2014 11:26 amby EribaOnPatrol (deleted)
Hi, we have a 2001 Triton and i'm looking for some new wheels.
We currently have 13" rims, with 100mm PCD and what appears to be a 57mm centre bore.
Can anyone confirm what the centre bore actually is for Eriba wheels?

Are you looking for alloys or steel wheels?
Assuming you are looking for four-stud alloys (and as far as I can see only four-stud wheels have a PCD of 100mm), their centre bore is 60mm. I can't see any four-stud 13 inch alloys with a 57mm bore. Steel wheels come in a bigger range of configurations.
Probably best to check here anyway.
Best bet of all would be to e-mail a real specialist. Gunnar Braasch, the bloke who owns that site, is extremely helpful.

In the end, we went for these: -

And the 185/70 R13 86 tyres.
Our Triton is a 2001 model, although the steel wheels have the 57mm bore, it is not unusual for caravan and trailer wheels to have a centre bore larger than the hub spigot - the wheel being centred by the conical wheel bolts and load taken in sheer by tension on the bolts themselves.
However, if anyone is ever worried about this, then the standard solution (deployed by most car manufacturers) is to fit spigot rings to reduce the diameter of the wheel to the correct size. In this case: -

So, hope this helps anyone out in the future if looking for new wheels....
