Very sad news

It is with great sadness I have to report the passing of Mike (Mr Baltic Wharf). Mike was a great guy and although we saw things differently (nose in etc) I was always polite and courteous to him and his wife, and we respected each other.

Mike had been ill for sometime, as I posted on here before. When I knew of his illness I usedto pop in with some sweets or biscuits just to let him know others cared. We sent them a Christmas card and took in more "treats". I last saw him working on our February trip to Baltic Wharf and he thought he was through the worst of it. I joked with him as he teased me abiut cleaning the caravan and car.

Mike will be truly missed by his family and loved ones, and other Baltic Wharf users, he is a great loss and I feel honoured to have been able to call him "Mate"
my thoughts and condolences go to his family, friends and all those affected by this sudden loss.

RIP Mike.
