hello peter I'm a bit late on your question about tony from caravansales in Lancashire , I've been away for a few days in my troll that I bought from tony
on the 11th of this month. tony was very helpful in every way, he even drove to leeds the day after I bought it to check out a problem which turned out to be a faulty cable of mine which I found a little embarrassing but he found funny,he seems a really genuine bloke and I'm really happy with the troll I bought .

that's great Sean! Many thanks for that reassuring feedback. Glad you're delighted with your Troll - I hope that it brings you many years of happiness :-).

I'm in Harrogate BTW, just a few miles north of you...

Thanks a lot for thinking of me Nev. Pretty extensive fire damage - I wonder how much the structural/weather integrity has been compromised by that... Sent you a PM.

Certainly the external pics look consistent, judging by the block paving - can't vouch for the limited interior snaps though. It's a left-hander too, so must be a grey import (rear lights haven't been swapped over).

I would suggest that only experts need apply on this one. It might be an absolute steal, who knows, but I don't know enough to take the punt. "A'hm oot!".

It could still be a bargain for someone, even the parts would be worth £1000's

We bought our first Eriba, a Triton 420 from Tony in June and we can highly recommend him. He's a lovely bloke, very honest and trustworthy and sells the Eribas in an excellent condition. He sells around 2 vans per month at very reasonable prices. Our Eriba is a 1999 model and in an excellent condition. It cost us £7500 and and had one previous owner in Holland who stored it inside, so it looks a lot younger that 15 years old. It came with 2 awnings and Tony put new tyres on it and made sure that everything was in good order, we have no complaints and would go back to him again in the future if we were to buy another Eriba. I found him through the internet and emailed him with our requirements and within a month or so we had our Eriba! His Eribas sell very quickly and he seems to have plenty of customers.

Hi Netty.
That's very nice to know. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It's bound to give other members confidence.
Although we've personally never had any dealings with Tony, he does appear to run a very well organised company and of course, you can't go far wrong if you buy an Eriba from an Eriba enthusiast.
Do you use your Triton often or are you one of the unlucky ones who doesn't have that much time off?

Sorry Folk but I sort of caused this thread to deviate because I wanted to know about Netty's experiences with their new Eriba. My fault entirely so I've moved Netty's reply to my question to another thread so you can find it here:- First trip out with the Eriba

Many thanks for that fulsome feedback Netty - always good to get the customer's view! It would appear that Tony attracts consistently good reviews and buying from someone who is an Eriba fan to boot can't but help.

Many thanks for taking the time to post.

Morning Peter,

I've had no personal dealings with the chap in Barrowford, but have spoken to a couple of owners who have purchased vans from him.
I think he has quite a good reputation, and both owners were very happy with the service they got.

Hope this helps.

Cheers Mark

Many thanks for those additive comments Mark. He seems to get the thumbs up from all that know of him.
