Eribafolk Sail Flag

After a lot of experimentation print-wise, and making an even worse mess of our living room than usual, it took us both ALL DAY to make this. Don't know why it looks blue in the photos - it is definitely purple. Hope you like it!

Agger likes it well done!

I'm married to a mobile mess maker! 2 knitting bags, a sewing machine and a spare room full of essential off cuts, remnants, wool, crotchet, womenstuff!

Oooopsy got to go she's about

Thanks for all the great feedback. They are definitely not going into production from this house! At the rate of one per day we would end up murdering each other! If anyone wants to make their own we can let you know the rough idea. Just like on Blue Peter, you will need to arm yourself with an old coat hanger, a cork, old keyring and short length of polypipe (sadly no sticky backed plastic!) Oh, and a full bottle of wine for afterwards

For everyday use we've now produced a small flag (the same size as all the others we fly). Seems to work OK so we are quite pleased.

Much on my part - I only do the sewing and printing. Roger had the stress of ironing everything on as the logo and writing was done with dark T-shirt printing straight onto the finished flag. The sail flag had the logo done with white T-shirt transfer and then I sewed it onto the flag material. I still like your appliqued one though!

For those who haven't seen them yet, MargieF has also been busy making Eriba Flags g75-Crafty-Eribas.html
Like Pop540's, they look great with lots of hard work put into them.
OK Margie, divulge the secret. How did you do them?
