Well it was almost an impulse buy! Husband and I went camping in France for the weekend 2 weeks ago to celebrate a friends 30th wedding anniversary. It was the first time we had camped for 30 years but with the aid of the 7P's we had a fabulous time along with about 35 others! Most of us were in tents but there was also a very large motor home, a very fancy new WV which had been professionally converted into a camper and an Eriba! The motor home was far too big and they had no other means of transport to tour so were stuck at our friends "shedeaux", and at a cost of over £40,000 - not for me! The new VW - very nice but the conversion alone cost £10,000!! Then the Eriba! I was smitten - love at first sight and oh so very cute! The decision was made almost instantly - I had to have one! So here I am - my story!

Quote: Lou wrote in post #5You'll find that quite a few of us on here could tell exactly the same tale. Our 'road to Damascus' moment came in 2010 while camping near Chenonceaux but we had a 9 month search before we found the Triton. Crikey, you don't hang about!
Then the Eriba! I was smitten - love at first sight and oh so very cute! The decision was made almost instantly - I had to have one! !
Any pictures for us to share?

And what a great story Lou. Welcome to Eribafolk.
What year is your Familia? You were obviously very lucky to get one so soon after your holidays.
There are a few interior photos of Eribas in our gallery but we've seen so many wonderful ideas with some very vibrant colours and fabrics that look fabulous. That's half the fun and it can easily be put back to standard if you wish to sell at any time.
Hope you'll share your thoughts and ideas with us.

Ours is a 1990 model and seems in excellent condition! I can't wait to start to Lou-it-up! Of course I will be keeping all the original soft furnishings but would not be able to live with them!! Pretty and fresh is the look I am going for!

If its any help I stapled one part of a Velcro strip onto the wooden base and covered the existing fabric with a removable cover that attached to the Velcro
I thoroughly cleaned the existing cover first before covering.
the thought was if the covers were damaged could replace easily.
if you intend to recover Debbie shores you tube recovering a stool or
bucket seat part 1
part 2 recovering cushion may help.
enjoy
