Overnighter near Folkestone convenient for Eurotunnel?

As usual, this year I'm currently 'planning' September in France with no real idea of where we might go other than 'southwards'. The pressure is on to book the crossing using that nice Mr Tesco's vouchers but these have to be used a minimum of 14 days prior to travel and time is running out.
I'm toying this time with overnighting not too far from the Tunnel on the outward journey and, never having done this before, wondered if anyone can recommend a suitable site within, say 30 - 45 mins of the terminal?
Any ideas?

Four our last nights stay in the UK last year we stayed with a Mrs Ros Martin at Hogben Farm http://www.hogbenfarm.co.uk/index.html which is only 15 mins away from the Tunnel. The GPS co-ordinates for the farm are - 51.095311, 0.963538 if you want to look it up on Google Earth. It probably once was a farm although there is very little evidence of it now - no cow dung to trundle through to get to the front door lol.
The room we stayed in was very comfortable, small but also not postage stamp size with the usual TV and tea making facilities. Breakfast is in the large conservatory.
If considering this, I would recommend telephoning (number on contacts page) rather than filling in the booking form as she receives this via email in-between nipping over to France every now and then to visit her daughter and whatever business she also runs, it can take some time before she replies to mails.
All in all very comfortable, clean and quiet accommodation and ideal for a quick mornings sprint down to the tunnel. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to visit her again.

Hi Aaron
Saw a review a few weeks ago and kept the name for future refs.... not been ourselves but quite a few people agreed it was a good site and very convenient for the Channel Tunnel.

If you should decide to overnight on the other side of the channel we recently stayed in La Chaumiere near St Omer and had a very pleasant last evening in France. It is around one hours drive from the Tunnel. Best approached from the north (come off at junction 53 before Dunkirk rather than following the narrow lanes favoured by the satnav). A quirky little site run by a welcoming couple with a pleasant bar/restaurant . It cost 23 Euros inc EHU.(20 Euros in September)

A nice site and handy for the crossings. They also have a special area for folk who say that they're leaving early for the crossing. Our only concern was the right turn out of the campsite to head for the crossings. A very busy road and your view is restricted by a high hedge.

Thanks both..
I didn't think of Caravan and Camping Club (of which I am a member) they do have a site at Folkestone but they advise it is not suitable for early deartures as they don't open the gates till 7am. The Caravan and Motorhome Club Randa suggests is the same price (for a non-member such as I) as the Drum inn suggested in the earlier posts. Advantage to the Drum inn is I can get a beer and some grub. The Drum in is in the lead at the moment, anything coming up on the rails?

We had a good meal and a couple of real ales at the pub directly opposite Black Horse Farm last Sept. The pub is also dog friendly. There is a handy spar shop opposite the site for those last minute items.
We will be using it again in a couple of weeks for our first trip.

We have used the Drum Inn and have booked it again for this year. Simple little field at back of pub with basic facilities and hook up. The camping field backs on the to an arable field.
They are happy that you don't need to unhitch and you can have a classic pub meal in the pub. Very close to the tunnel.
