Aiming to use the bus to get into Soton and visit the Maritime festival for the day, but delayed waiting for plumber to arrive and fix the cistern in the bathroom which went into overdrive late last night at bedtime. Managed to turn the water off at the point having had a fiddle with it myself to no avail.
We have insurance to cover this and it has proved useful in the past.

These kind of things always seem to happen when we have something planned... .Hope the plumber turns up soon..

Thanks. He's been and gone having changed the whole system in the cistern, so replaced it with a unit he had in his van.. Puzzled as to why it didn't work properley and found they don't make it any more. Good 45 mins and no charge.
