Google ......too invasive .........or not?

Ever looked at your home on google maps?
If I zoom in to maximum I can see the conservatory I had built and my greenhouses .....and the shed I built.
If I switch to street view I can see my net curtains and the blind in my bathroom ...........even the area that I paved to put the wheely bins on

Am I the only one who feels a little bit worried about this invasion of what I call my privacy? or does a multinational company have the right to photograph my home and post it on line without my permission?

Comments welcome ...................................

I believe that, if you complain to Google about the invasion of your privacy, they will remove or blur out any thing you consider is an invasion . Haven't tried it or know of anyone who has, but it may be worth your pursuing if it is a problem. Technically any video or photo taken FROM a public area is not against the law, as long as it isn't taken from private land without permission.

yes too invasive in other ways, if you get a gmail account that automatically gives details to the search part. to get apps you need a g mail account they ask for so much info just didn't bother.

I have notice that the Germans are very anti street view. Before going to Freiburg this summer I tried to check out some areas and found that Frieburg 9and most of Germany I believe0 was not covered. The French on the other hand seem to love the web and be happy to anounce their presence.
