We were were on holiday in Minehead we were walking to Morrison's when we were stopped at a railway crossing for the historic railway, as the train went past somebody must have flushed the toilet. When the gates went up everybody was playing hop scotch as the train toilet had dump all it contents, without going into graphic detail it was all over the walkway area . I didn't realise it is only on carriages built after 1990 that they have a large waste tank, the rest still dump their contents all over the track. All I can say its a good jobby that caravans are bit more modern and don't have a Dickensian toilet system.
