OK, I think all the Eribas are fantastic but I have seen a few posts of the newer models with snagging issues. This made me wonder, if anyone could choose from a fantastic older Eriba or a younger model, what would the general leaning be towards a year of ideal manufacture.

We were only discussing this yesterday with an Eriba friend. It has to be late '90's. The instantly recognisable split screen front, yet still retains its classic rear end. Two great colour schemes to choose from, white with yellow stripes or white with purple stripes. Sturdy, infill panelled internal doors and colourful upholstery.
Also, nothing falls off because of a good build quality

Having had an '01 and an '05 TrolI I'd opt for the current model every time. Both ours had a washroom that was compromised as was the later swivel toilet one. The current washroom is how it always should have been all along. That and LED touch lighting and a galvanised frame makes a complete package.

2008 or thereabouts for us, loads of charm and good quality build. Having said that I am fond of the yellow striped Eriba, just a bit different.

If you get a van more than two years old in theory it should have had all its snagging sorted out, I'm with SDA I think the 2014 vans have got it bang on with all the fixtures and the silver colour. If I was buying an older model I would probably go for a post 2002 Familia with the silver and white colour scheme and the built in gas locker......

The nice thing about an Eriba is that the classic lines and the basic layout haven't changed for over 50 years so you can't go far wrong which ever model you go for.
