GRrrrrr! The Beeb

I like to watch MOTD and last Saturday, I watched the national news and the presenters always warn viewers of sports results coming, so I switch channels.
Switching back I caught the BBC south news starting and immediately as an opener, the young chap presenting went straight in saying " Saints were beaten today at Whitehart Lane etc etc etc" or words to that effect. I like to see all the highlights of all matches and whilst Southampton is local I don't have any particular allegiance, just interested in all the teams.
I have written to the Beeb South and moaned at them. Wonder what the response will be.

I've done this several times and if you ever get a response it will be a load of drivel. They frequently related results last year before televising the soccer, rugby and F1.

Got a reply from the Beeb today. Someone in BBC South called Susan Hamblin
"i've passed your comments to the presenter. I believe that it was the first time he had worked on the weekend bulletins and so may not have been aware of the usual procedure. Please accept our apologies etc etc etc.
Nice anyway. but why wasn't he briefed and prepared?
