Need to know the distance between the rear of the front seat (s) and the rear door ie total loading space length with rear seats removed. Tks

Hi Deeps
Just been out into the drive in the dark, and measured it as 4' 7". And that will be with the front seats well back - we're both tall. Will do it more accurately tomorrow if you wish.

Thanks Keith. No need to really do it again if you could just tell me how much you would estimate adding to the length if a person of say 5ft 10 and a tea-leaf was driving lol.

Perhaps another 3" or so.

How many cases of Old Peculiar are you intending loading ?
I should calculate the cargo weight, as well as space lol, Ian.

I've always liked the idea of a Yeti, but every time I look inside I'm disappointed by the small boot, even with the rear seats out of the way.

But presumably you need a larger boot to take your dogs? Yes the boot in the Yeti isn't massive, but when we go away it's only the two of us, so there's really enough space. We came to a Yeti from a Touran, but we still take the same amount of stuff away with us.

Cheers Mark

That was my first impression also which is why I asked - maybe it's an optical illusion type thing.

Ah, now that's good to know because we'd be doing the same. I've been doing a bit of online configuring with both Yeti (I like the Adventure model)and Touran and for one's buck you sure as hell get a lot more with the Yeti and it's still all VW.

Don't dealers still do extended test drives like they used to?

It might be worth asking, then you could bring one home and either measure it or fill it with stuff.

I did test drive one a few days ago but the idea of taking along a tape measure only came to mind after I'd returned it - more fool me. Thought maybe I'd find something in the specs online but no joy there which is why I asked.
