Thank you for the info. All seems to.be a bit involved and probably expensive so in meantime think we will.go with the AL one to see how we get on.

...and probably expensive...
Indeed.

You could get five Vango Airbeams for the price of a Karsten inflatable.

You are probably right. Haven't actually looked at the prices but sofar haven't been able to find any inflatable ones the correct height for an Eriba Triton so at the moment we think our only option is traditional one from AL.
Thanks

What do you mean by 'the correct height'? If you mean one which is tailor-made for an Eriba, then I think you'll struggle to find an alternative to paying the two grand or so that a Karsten would cost.

I think all of the other inflatables - Airbeams included - are a generic fit which enables them to be used with camper vans as well as caravans with low eaves like these.

There are several people on here - me included - who have Vango Airbeams of one version or another. I think it's very good for what it does, i.e. being extremely quick to erect and take down, but it probably isn't fair on my part to compare it with a Karsten which is definitely what it says on the tin; a heavy-duty, specialised-fit inflatable. And that specialisation is what you pay for.

If you can live with the compromises inherent in inflatables like Airbeams, then I reckon they are a good choice. They won't ever be what you may well be after - a blow-up version of a single-purpose unique-fit awning.
