Experiment No2 - critique required, please

I've attached another pencil drawing, and I'd like people's opinions. It's the Puck 230 we used to have at a site in Herefordshire. I'm not fishing for compliments - there might not be any, after all; what I need to know is whether or not I've captured the character of these little vans.

It seemed to me that the very best people to ask were those who own them, so please hit me with it. If you don't like it, tell me why you don't like it.

After all, the only truly daft question is the one you never ask.

Thanks

Pete

Hiya Pete,
I am in no way an art expert but to me that looks bob on really nice and yes you can in my opinion relate to the character of the Eriba.

Una Stubbs would have coloured it in.

Hah! She would have drawn a big white box Brian. This is a superb piece of draghtsmanship. Smashing Pete.

Don't encourage him, Derek, he's only showing off.

If only it were true.

I'm mortified, but not surprised. What scrap of confidence I had lies in tatters.

The worst of it is that I just ordered a brand new smock and beret . Just as well I didn't opt for the small folding stool and easel combo.

Thank Goodness! you have dragged your light out from under the bushel.
Are you going to offer these terrific pencil drawings to the general public
Pete?

Hi Pete, Yes I think you have captured the character of our Puck 230's very well indeed and I think your attention to detail (something I'm not good at myself) is enviable. I'm going to study some of your technique for my next picture which will be a pair of Eribas (a Puck & a Triton nuzzling up together) - wish me luck!

The only thing Tony can draw is his pension, Derek. (You did mean Frantone?)

If you mean me Derek the only example that is Eriba related is my profile picture which is - well - nothing special. I tend to draw (for my own amusement and the grandchildren) butterflies, the odd wild animal and scenes from our village but I stress my skills are limited and the results reflect that.
