our electric went off today,
were having new hardware in the street, off 9am on at 4pm
at 4pm no power, a small hiccup
we plugged the hookup from the eriba into a extension to run some lights in home, totally isolated from home electrics
and learnt the hook up on our eriba doesn't allow electric to flow backwards down the orange cable from eriba to light bulb..
we then got the long extension unwound plugged into 3 pin plug x posted through a window in eriba and through window in home, turned the inverter back on, we had 2 lights plugged in
and we crafted away.
we also used the hob, other people in the street were invited to use our cooking facilities, but after some time the power was restored.
really pleased to have eriba to keep us warm, hot watered and give us light. was really dark gone 4.30pm

seems the hardware job hasn't been finished so another day of off grid is to be expected.. can say am looking forward to It
