Wonderful website which I've been following for months. Currently in the process of selling our motorhome (we have been motorhoming for 16 years). We are now looking forward to our new home from home. Having spent hours at AL looking at and discussing Eribas we're going to increase the Eriba stock for future years by ordering a new 430 which we get late 1Q15. Hope to meet you all at various meets around the country. I do have a few questions but that's for a later time. Happy days are ahead!

HI Rob and Pat and welcome to Eribafolk. Thanks for joining us. I'm guessing by your name that you're fairly close to Automotive Leisure so you can lean on them quite easily
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

Thankyou for your welcomes.
Taffy - I need to sell the motorhome first to release the cash to buy the Eriba, so a lengthy wait is a bit of a blessing but as soon as we get it we're off - initially a few days to break our selves in to the Eriba lifestyle followed possibly by a 6 week tour around Scotland.
Randa - Yes I can lean a little on AL as we're only 5 mins away but when it comes to making alterations to a new van warranties tend to get in the way and I guess they can't be seen 'approving' such changes. Probably if it was a used van then perhaps ....... It took us a long time to decide which van to choose. It came down to either a 420 or a 430. The 430 won because for us it provided more flexibility within its layout but it does lack storage space for longer items such as windbreaks and awning poles. So my modification concerns the 3 seat lockers across the back of the van as I would like to turn the centre locker and one other to create a larger one.

Thank you again for your welcomes and happy Eriba'ing - is that right!

Hi Rob. Yes we have a similar problem with the 530 although we have plenty of room in the car for such items.
However, we were interested in the following solution which we first saw on a Triton in the South of France. Since then we've noticed it on several other vans.

Thanks for the pictures. interesting. I was only speaking to AL last Friday about tubes slung underneath to take longer items. I wonder how the tubes are attached - bolts thro the floor presumably. Could finish up with 2 or 3 tubes!

Thankyou for the welcome Hampshireman and ditto we look forward to meeting you in the future. I have been reading about you health issues, it certainly hasn't been your year this year. Trust everything goes well on the 29th, we will be thinking of you. Also we hope you are recovering from your stroke, nasty things they can be. Stat positive that Eriba is waiting.

Hi and
Think we must live in the same neck of the woods and we have a Future 430 (pics in the gallery), which I think is the same layout. We, too are new this year to Eribering, but have enjoyed it so much.
Hope to see you around sometime, Chris and Keith
