Grab this.....

Good afternoon all

I have been in touch with jandi about replacing the grab handles on our Eriba Triton 430 BSA. The originals were, I would say, more or less white in colour but are a bit faded and scuffed with screw-covers missing. I really should replace them (5 in total including one which has been added to the gas-bottle locker - it is mounted vertically).

Jandi tell me that they have only grey grab handles available - they look pretty shiny and I am not sure about the cosmetic effect - I think they might rather stand out and be a bit obvious.

If it comes to the bit, I will probably proceed, but wonder if anyone on the forum has any other ideas?

As ever, I will be most grateful for any helpful suggestions.

Pretty grotty weather just now in Brittany!

Cheers

David

Hi David. We have black ones on the outside of our Troll and white on the inside. It's the purple stripe and not the yellow stripe. No other difference though.
However, have a look at this pretty little Puck currently for sale at Automotive Leisure. That's got grey handles outside at least and it looks OK doesn't it?

I remember one bloke painted his fridge grills grey, it looked very smart.

I replaced ours earlier this year and when I asked for white I was told "they may look white but they are actually called grey" ours is an 04 Troll, we were well happy with the result. By the way Jandi were less than half the price quoted elsewhere and the service was exceptional

We have recently replaced our handles with grey ones from Jandi and they are exactly the same as the originals fitted to our 2008 Familia. As usual we had an excellent service from Jandi. Ellen.

My previous 1993 Puck grab handles should have been grey but they had turned white and chalky with the UV rays, at the time I could only get black to replace them......

Thanks again, everyone. I am ordering from jandi this morning. I concur with all the favourable comments made about jandi - Jean has kept an eye on everything and has it all packed up ready to send off to me as soon as I pay. Outstanding service, I say.

Best wishes to all

David
