Wishing all forum members and their loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Oh yes, at this time of the year, when the roadside breath testing checks come up with great regularity, I would like to share a personal experience with you about drinking and driving.
A couple of nights ago, I was out for an evening with friends and had some rather smooth Scotch.
Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before; I took a cab home.
Sure enough, I passed a police road block but, since it was a cab, they waved it past.
I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise as I have never driven a cab before and am not sure where I got it or what to do with it now that it's in my garage...

Our Xmas Card from the Eriba Owners Club arrived today. Later than usual which got us a little worried but well worth waiting for.

Not much choice of make.......Nuffield, I suppose. (or have they been updated ? )
I'll ask Santa.

I've not be here long enough to have got to know individuals by name, so I'm going to send a general MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone. Let's hope it's a great one, that next year is the best yet – and if all goes well, I might get to meet at least one or two Eribafolk before next Christmas. Fingers crossed for all of the above.

Having taken legal advice:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday practised with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practise religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2015, but not without due respect for the calendar of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great (not to imply that any country is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.
