Thanks mate, so are you saying the smart element with TVs these days hads better sound?

I was in John Lewis at Cribbs Causeway today and had a look at telly's they had 31 in the range 18" to 32" varying complexities, prices from just over £100 to about £350 (which was fully smart).

With regard to sound the John Lewis person said "we get more and more people buying good quality headphones to go with the television, these can be wired or bluetooth or like mine compatible with both) sometimes Mrs Agger has a programme designed for cretins on the telly and I watch an intellectual programme ie enders or corrie trdmfl

I looked at the UHD 4K curved screen 50" very impressive but I don't live next door to the Jones' so I don't need one
