Pong?..... I empty and rinse my cassette, recharge it then gently invert and rotate the cassette
until all the insides are coated with the fresh charge this helps to maintain its freshness when
you are touring for a long period.
The only black bits were from the flush, when I first bought the van. I filled the flush tank with
hand hot water with added Soda crystals, Then flushed it till empty, refill with a good flush agent
at the recommended strength. No more black bits.
Just wee or both? If you have to use it for both, flush first then using the special thin sheets of
toilet paper stick them to the bowl sides. It makes for a cleaner flushing after.

We've never used poncy chemical-crapper toilet paper and never had a problem. While I've got better things to do with my time than search Caravan Talk for bogroll-related posts, I still get the distinct impression that a lot of other people feel the same way about it.
So what's the poop, Rodders?
If you pardon the expression.

You only need the one roll of "special" for lining the loo.
Normal toilet papers being stronger can cause problems
to the delicate swivel/elevate and bugger its full mechanisms.
There are thin toilet paper rolls on the market, but I don't have the
HSE finger penetration meter required to assess them.

I'm more inclined to think that it's the length of toilet paper used rather than its thickness which buggers up the mechanism. And in this regard, it's most definitely wimmin who are the culprits.
I realise that the design department let them down by not enabling them to shake, but it still seems to me that they use a yardage of bogroll quite disproportionate to the actual need.
I bet if you got Mrs Rodders to tiddle in the bushes you'd never have a problem with a buggered-up mechanism again.

We don't have a loo in our 310 as neither of us fancy emptying one, infact we gag at the site of them being emptied onsite. We have to make do with parking near the toilet block and I have to make early hours dashes, not a pretty site but thankfully its usually just wildlife about

Cor, it must be great to be young and fit Ellen.
Takes us back to our camping days when we would lay awake for what seemed like hours trying to put off the inevitable early morning dash, listening to the rain and wind beating at the roof of the tent
We only use our "on board" for a pee but still try to put off the inevitable dash. Far too cosy

I have to climb over Mark to get out to the loo then dodge a dog or 2 before my final exit then the run, just about make it (up to now) Most definitely not young R but put my fitness down to practising tai chi, works wonders for my arthritis and I can highly recommend it. Ellen

While on the subject of loo's and bearing in mind frost in the weather forecast in some parts of the country it may be a good thing to remind fellow members to check that end of season draining down has been done.
I did mine yesterday, the under sink container, the bathroom sink container and the loo waste and flush tanks.
