... as tonight we ate a meal I prepared while she was away skiing and she was really complimentary. Simple little sausage, chorizo and bean casserole. Now those of you who know me, realise I have difficulty on finding the kitchen in our tiny Victorian terrace but with this new interest, it's the 5th dish I have prepared and they have all been damn good, yes I say it myself, maybe I should go on to try a Lobster Linguini or whatever.
I am loooking for either support or hopefully derision, in that I might have to do this all over again, the next time she fancies going off on a ski trip withot me. She did confess that she was lost on the piste without me to follow as she is completely stuffed by the piste maps. At least she has come back in one piece as against some younger people with breaks here and there.
I am alone again as she is catching up on the Maternity soap and then Dalliances in Halifax. Can't stand either.

Thanks. You are very brave and adventurous, but I am certainly not sure about trying that.
It's only a cake. The worst case scenario is that you scrape it into the bin and leave the back door open for the smoke to clear.
It's baking, not mountaineering

Quote: crow wrote in post #9Seems to be about the only thing they are any good at these days. P'raps everyone will be so taken with the punkin bread that they'll forget about the £250,000,000 Tesco told fibs about.
How about Cranberry, pumpkin and sunflower seed bread,
I have made it but Tesco do it better.
