Questions prior to purchase

I have a few questions as we are pondering a possible return to the fold. We're considering a new Troll. Does anyone know the headroom without the pop-top up. We had a 1999 Triton and it was 5' 7" (same as me) but I believe the current vans are a little taller (or is that just a taller door?

Regards

Simon

Gracious, a new Todd Pod!

I don't think they raised the overall height of the 'main' roof Simon, they reprofiled it so the door and awning rail could be higher, whilst adding an extra few inches in width. If you look at more recent Trolls in comparison with earlier models you'll see the roof is less bulbous in shape, so I don't think you get any additional head clearance to the roof, but you do get better door clearance and about four inches extra across the van. The washroom benefits by being four inches deeper.

Hi Simon.

....And I've just measured our 1999Troll at 169cm. So, exactly the same.
The additional road height quoted on the brochures is probably due to a stiffer suspension and bigger wheels.
