Hi from Stuart,

we've just purchased an early 90s Puck and are looking forward to our shakedown trip at easter.

The first trip will be to the Mosel Valley here in Germany, next year touring Britain is on the cards.

Summer Hols? Well wherever the weather is good!

And a warm welcome from sunny (well today anyway lol) Stuttgart, or just outside it anyway. We dragged our Gretel over to the Yorkshire Dales last year and enjoyed it so much we're back off there again later this year. Can highly recommend it if you're into walking and a generally quieter kind of life. Oh, and the beers good too.

Before any of that though, we'll be off over the border into France and spending a couple of weeks in the Vosges or Elsass (can never remember exactly where the border is between these two regions) at a place called Camping du Schlossberg - http://www.schlossberg.fr/en/camping.html . Never been there before but the location looks good and we've only ever heard/read good things about the place.

Places we can personally recommend, however, are two municipal campsites and well worth staying at. The first is Camping Pierre de Coubertin http://en.camping-alsace.com/camping-pie...tin-ribeauville and the other is Camping de Kaysersberg http://en.camping-alsace.com/camping-municipal-kayserbserg .

Anyway, happy holidays and safe towing.

Hello Stuart and welcome to Eribafolk. Where in Germany are you living?
Hope you have a good Easter with your Puck. We toured southern and western Germany two years ago. Our last camp site before heading for Luxembourg was in the Mosel Valley.
We stayed at Bullay/Alf in http://www.baeren-camp.de/data_ger/index_ger.htm
A really nice camp site which offers ACSI discounts too.
Please add some photos when you have time.

Thnx for the warm "Wilkommen" everyone! Marita and I live in north western Germany in the city of Münster. We're long time camping enthusiasts, though we've never owned a caravan.

If this is the sort of response we can expect from the community at large I'm looking forward all the more to hitting the road with our tiny Puck.

See you on "Tour" sometime.
