Corner steadies lubrication

Does anyone brave enough to do their own servicing grease the spindles of the corner steadies or, if you have the van professionally serviced, have you checked to see whether or not these have been greased?
I ask because a service check-list that I once download (perhaps from here) indicated that the steps should be lubricated although on our Triton 430 there is a label that specifically states not to and I was wondering whether the same applies to the corner steadies the lubrication of which also appears on the said list.

I do my own, clean off the old grease then regrease with white lithium grease from a spray can.
I prevent overspray with either cardboard or a cut up 5l polythene container

Im reluctant to put much in the way of grease on mine........a few spots of oil maybe

But grease and road dirt mixed sounds a bit like grinding paste to me

My Familia stabilised screw thread was like yours, dry from new, which makes you think if that's how it should be? When it went for its first service at a Hymer dealer it appeared that they had used a light oil
It made big difference, a lot less effort and no squeaking.....

mine has the white grease that crow mentions from the spray tin, my service gentleman actually applied,
interesting comment regarding wear and road grit.
Not something had considered, but the legs are still working after 10 years of grease application, and I can quietly arrive on site, some legs do creak in winding.

Properly applied there will be just a film of grease, never smother it on.
Then it will attract no more dirt than a film of oil but tends to stick better.

Thanks for all the replies which, as expected, were a bit varied in nature. I've got some white teflon spray in the workshop that a service engineer left behind when conducting the annual service on our underground garage door and was used to lubricate the heavy duty balance springs and will probably spray a bit of that stuff on. At present the spindles are as dry as a bone and squeak a lot when lowering or raising - not to mention making them a bit stiff.

Clean them off with brake Cleaner and teflon is brilliant
