I have just bought an Eriba Pan Familia 310 GT, it has a euro gas regulator (I think)

1. Which propane gas regulator can I buy? Links please

2. Can I just cut the pipe and connect with the new one with a crocodile clip?

3. Can I use the small 5Kg BP plastic propane bottles with the same connetcor as my 10KG bottles for my BBQ?

4. Can I use a patio requlator?

5. Why is this caravaning lark so hard? :(

TIA

Rob

Did you buy the van from abroad or from someone who imported it? if not what makes you think it is a Euro one? do Uk cylinders not fit?

I would not recommend that on safety grounds

I would not recommend that on safety grounds either

No to both of those

Its not ..............its meant to be fun..............once you have the van set up correctly you will realize that

Gas is not something you can play with as a layman, if you get things wrong there could be a big bang with you inside it

I recommend you talk to a local caravan service agent and get him to do whatever is needed get one who is gas trained and knows what he is doing.........it will cost a few quid but will be worth it.

Hi,

These are pictures of the regulator on my caravan.

Can I get a tank to fit this?

That looks a lot like the one that came with my Dutch van

have you seen this topic?

Note............looking at your picture again it has the correct EN number and no foreign words on it but it does not seem to have the right fitting to connect to a UK cylinder ................not something I have seen before

Still recommend a service engineer

Looking at Hobs picture in another thread he is the gentleman who can advised better than I can.

Hobs link is worth reading, excellent advice covers the regulator and where to obtain
