Does anyone know if the caravan brake lights & indicators are compatible with uk cars. In other words do these lights work when the cable is plugged into a uk car or would I need to bring a lighting board with me? Have you personal experience of this?

Secondly I'm assuming all eribas are braked, I just haven't seen it written anywhere

Thank you

The 13-Pin arrangement was first adopted over on the Continent with the UK half following on much later down the line. So yes, if you've got 13-Pin electrics on your car then there will be no problem whatsover. In fact, even if you've got double 7-Pin sockets you shouldn't have a problem with the right adapter. The wiring for the 13-Pin is to a BS/DIN standard so you've got no need to worry.

Brakes - um yes, to the best of my knowledge I believe so unless someone knows better.

Prior to finding the troll 530 that I've just bought, I contacted a dealer in Holland for a new Eriba last October and he was most helpful. When I told him that I'd located one in the UK he said that whenever I wanted to trade in or up to contact him. And that if ever I was over there to arrange to meet him. As already mentioned the Euro is well down and you could certainly benfit from that.I had read somewhere that for a fee of £90, your Eriba can be put on the ferry and collected at a UK port.

I think the only difference to UK use with a 'foreign' van is that the rear fog light and reversing lights are the wrong sides for UK use on the 'van - easily rectified on the van's wiring
