Does anyone know who manufactures the twin blinds fitted to many (most? all?) Eribas, please? One of the screw fittings fractured on mine a couple of days ago, and though it's temporarily fixed with glue I'd like to do a proper job as soon as poss. The bit that I need is the right-hand-side bottom endcap Any help welcomed.

Martyn

Hi Martyn, just a thought, on ebay at the moment someone is selling windows from an Eriba (possibly an insurance write off) might be worth a quick email to them?? as I say just a

Seitz (now owned by Dometic)

The bottom end caps aren't available separately - you'll have to buy the complete side arm pair.

Have a look at Leisure Spares' site for drawings and parts lists, but unfortunately it's a trade only supplier.

Let me know if you have trouble finding them from retail suppliers.

Hello Martyn

There's a Werbung: complete new blind with one solitary bid on eBay at the moment. It's a Rastrollo 2000, which I think is the correct model. You could probably check the part number with a bit of determined Googling, though I imagine John will know.

Probably not the right size, but a lot of spares for twenty quid or so...

I've done some determined Googling, as per Pete's suggestion. Mainly to try to establish the model number. It's clear the blinds are Seitz, as John says. But they are neither Rastrollo 2000 nor the superseding and currently available model, Rastrallo 3000. The top rail and cap assembly is quite different in profile to either of those, and I don't want to send away for something that might not fit.

I've emailed Dometic to ask their help in identifying the correct model, and if nothing shows up on eBay then I'll contact Jandi, as per Paul's (decko50) suggestion. I've found Jandi to be by a long way the most helpful supplier.

For what it's worth, here is a copy of my email to Dometic, and I'll also try to insert the pics I refer to, in case it sparks a memory with someone here. In the meantime, thanks for the response.

Zitat
One of the fixing lugs has broken on a blind in my Eriba caravan. The caravan is now 14 years old, so I can't complain about the good service that these blinds have given to date, but I would very much like them to carry on doing so.

I am having trouble identifying the exact model of blind, and would like to ask for your help. I'm certain it is a Seitz Rastrollo, but the profile of the top assembly is different from that of either the 2000 or the 3000. Since it seems impossible to buy just the bottom endcap (where the broken lug is situated), I am reluctant to order a complete side assembly if it turns out to be the wrong type.

I have attached a composite image showing the broken bottom endcap (now held together with glue and a plastic washer) and the top assembly. I hope you can help.

Thanks in advance ...

That's a bit of a bugger.

I'm sorry if I gave you a bum steer - the 2000 looked like it was just the ticket. It'll be interesting to see if Jandi have got the right bit in their Aladdin's cave.

No need to apologise. It helped me to focus; and before you can know what something is, you often need to know what it is not.

Hi
They look like mine ( on a 2005 Familia) When I contacted Jandi with my details the nice lady knew what I wanted and at a good price, I ordered a couple of spares.

Like mine in the pictures, or the Rastrallo 2000/3000?
