Just back from Ortho clinc and seen the specialist with scan results and he says I don't want to do surgery if you don't.

Scan shows no change which is good, I get no pain which is good, just occasional ache way down in the ankle below the fracture area, so he said get on with life, take it easy as you are, use your support boot when you feel like it and no Physio for the time being, See him next in early Sept with new XRay.

Will now plan a trip to Guernsey, might leave the Eriba here, to visit Hash pals who now work there for 2 yrs.

Then some more Eriba ventures.

I cannot fathom these consultants, they did an eight and a half hour operation on my back
to put in two steel rods etc. now they want to take them out again so I can have an MRI scan.

It's to avoid a short circuit.

A belt from the three-phase might make you feel like a million dollars, but there aren't many of those MRI scanners to the pound.

Thanks all. I did the C/Isles a lot in the 70s on business and Guernsey was the busiest for me at that time, but I ejoyed them. Got our pals from there with us this weelend, so planners will be out.

Hope you continue to improve and no medical intervention needed. Enjoy getting back out and about in your Eriba.
