Can the water pump under the sink be switched off. It is run off the battery .
If anyone can help much appreciated

Is there a reason you would want to turn off the pump? only it is usually only turned on when you run water as far as I know. Someone will be along shortly with a lot more knowledge.

for winter setting drain down
some Eriba folk fitted a switch to disable pump while taps left open.

other eriba folk have fitted a relay to save the micro switch from wearing out

if your pumps running without turning tap on, it may be the switch in tap at fault, to temporary stop the pump the 2 wires go up to the tap our are connected to the tap wires by a block connector, one of the wires hopefully the negative (tape the end just incase) could be disconnected while you seek a repair or fit a isolation switch

taps can be purchased from eriba dealers and leisure shop direct

eriba folk use a screw driver to gently turn the propeller to get the pump working after being stood over winter, if that's the fault..

Some have a pressure switch in water supply.

when we are not using the sink we just wondered if you could disconnect as sometimed we accidently knock the tap on when there is no water in the tank.
