We have a 1988 Eriba Puck that doesn't have a table strip on the outside of the van. I've been enquiring about getting one fitted, and have been quoted £80 for the part and £30 to £50 to fit it. This sounds extortionate for a strip of metal - could anyone tell me if I'm wrong and this sounds reasonable? Also - where is a good place to enquire about buying parts ourselves?

For buying non specific parts ebay or leisureshopdirect.com are good places to start
For eriba specific parts Automotive Liesure or Jandi are the places to go People speak highly of Jandi but I have not tried them yet myself for addresses and websites see our dealer section.

I too have the same issue on a 540 Troll I have considered putting one of these on the outside http://www.leisureshopdirect.com/caravan...trip_beige.aspx which would work and be a bit cheaper but not look so good, I suppose I could spray it silver!?

Hi, do you know if this works with the original strip on the table, or do you have to change both sides? I don't want to change all the internal strips.

The aluminium profile is different to the plastic type and in my experience do not work together.
I prefer the aluminium profile, the plastic stuff flexes.
I ordered the aluminium (both pieces) from Jandi, the plastic from Leisure Shop Direct.

I understand from Dutch eriberest I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of weeks back, that such strips are in fact 'of the shelf' metal profiles. He didn't enlighten me as to where to get them from, but if they are I suppose a google search of metal strip dealers or the like might prove useful. Good luck in your search.

I am currently leaning on a table that I made myself with the plastic strip and it clips in ok on both my inside and outside metal rails.

Edit............not sure it would work the other way round though. but don't see why not?

Thinking about it more, you could get a free standing ..........folding camping table for a lot less money and still use the other one inside that's what I do now and I leave my big table at home.

Sorry for hi jacking the thread, but thanks for all the info. I have gotten in touch with Jandi and awaiting a price for the Alli strip. My '82 Triton already has the moulding strips down each side, i just need to find some pics of how to fit it.

The table mounting profiles are available from the German supplier, Movera.

Part No 9961010 is the Table Holder Bar (the aluminium wall mount) and the table hook rail is Part No 9961020.

Both items are priced under 11 Euros each inc vat, excluding carriage.
