You'll be able to get that sorted at a car sprayers quite easily, it looks like it's not damaged just the laquer coming off,
if you buy new it won't match due to the degradation or fading caused by the weather (unless it's been covered all it's life)
Likes to wax and have a smooth finish! Has an empty space where once a very polished Eriba stood😎

It would certainly be cheaper than a replacement.
I've seen it done with an air hose and also a high pressure washer (not sure I'd want to attempt it) easy to remove though so worth a visit to a resprayer before buying a new one imho

Whip it off and take it to a car body shop. Cars are about 90% plastic these days (especially scarlet cabriolets) so body shops are well used to dealing with it.
