It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a person in possession of good sense must be in want of a 420.

Well thanks for all the kind comments. Had a great day at AL. Can honestly see they were really helpful and it was good to look over all the different layouts.
Left without making any commitments, however after much discussion we have decided to purchase a 420 with the multi-functional seating.
Phoned up today and placed the order. Now its just the waiting.
We've ordered the GT version and tow with a Skoda Yeti Tdi. Should be a nice combination.

Yes a sparkly new one, can't wait. Pre retirement present to us both.
The T@B was a great introduction to caravanning but as many have commented it is a bit of a squeeze inside particularly when the bed is down.
The 420 seems absolutely huge in comparison and I'm thinking the towing fuel economy should be good with the low height.
I was surprised with the T@B, going up to Wiltshire a couple of weeks back I averaged 35mpg, however on the way bay with a strong south westerly head wind I only managed 27mpg. Guessing its the wind resistance that affects mpg more than weight.
Next on the list is an awning. Would love an air awning for the convenience and speed of pitching.

I have a 420 and my car does 36 and a bit to the gallon on a long run not towing. When I measured when pulling the Eriba it only dropped to 33.5 to a gallon.
