It crashed into the window of her garden office thing, and since there are loads of cats round here she picked it up rather than leave it on the ground.

Once it had stopped seeing stars it left a nice present in the middle of her hand and flew off.

Birds often do that before taking off, makes them that little bit lighter so easier to fly.
