If Carlsberg did Thursdays, then this was one.

Long leisurely breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh croissants etc in the sun. 36°C
Quick trip to sweetie heaven, the Haribo factory near Uzes.
Fun in the swimming pool.
Excellent barbecued steaks, salad, vino collapso etc.
But most importantly...........The Ashes! Pommicide!

it's too hot here as well, 42 dgs yesterday and already 29 today, no wonder there are so many ashes

It was cricket week in Sudbury at the end of July. a game every day.
While watching somebody asked me 'Do you like cricket?'
I replied 'I'm from Yorkshire'.
