Hi all,

When searching the subject of awnings a few folk have the Eurotrail Flex Awning. We are looking for a easy pitch awning and would welcome feedback please on your experience.

Thanks
Lunarbri

I asked a similar question back in June, here. Found a second hand Khyam Motordome in the end so went that way and I am very pleased with it for our use which is mostly weekends away wild camping at dog agility competitions where the 20 minute pitch in fading light is priceless. Two people posted pictures of theirs on the Facebook page of Eribafolk in the Spring time resulting in questions being asked and both posters were very pleased with them and the service they had got from Obelink

Hi all,
We have one for our Puck 225L, supplied by AL when we bought the van some weeks ago (Cameron very helpful!).
We tried it a week ago for the first time (2 nights in Cirencester Park - nice!) but found the bead was far too wide to fit onto the rail, both of which seem to be 8mm. Got home and ordered a Keder strip and figure 8 connector but the awning bead was still too tight to fit the connector.
Just sorted last night! Got my old sewing machine out and attached a new 3 metre strip (6mm Blue Diamond awning piping, bought on Amazon) in parallel to the existing awning bead. Only trouble is it's now raining so will have to wait a bit before trying it out properly.
Sorry can't say how easy it is to put up yet but now very hopeful we will actually know soon!
Nick
