We just bought one from Bax in NL. It's been delivered but we are still in Switzerland, so we won't get to play with it for a couple of weeks. I'll put some pics up when we do before we take it to Spain in April. We took some time to decide whether to take the Bologna or the Verona (with help from Frantone :) ) but felt that, for us, the Bologna was too big with the sun canopy on, and we have a wind out Fiamna sun canopy on our T5 anyway. They aren't cheap but the euro rate currently makes the price more attractive. I like the shape and the absence of guy ropes to trip over. It's versatile too. You can have a sun canopy without the sides when weather is lovely, add the sides if dry but windy or add the front for a full awning when the weather is cr*p! If we didn't have a full T5 campervan as well as the Eriba we'd have probably gone for the Bologna.

Oh, another important reason for choosing a Unico was that they are grey and silver - Team Silver couldn't really be seen with anything else now, could it!

Do they make one to fit the Eriba as I'm thinking the sides and front may have too much height. So what size did you order for a Triton? Rob

Hi Rob and Pat.
There's a great photo on here of one that Aaron Calder spotted in France. g8p14-Unico-Verona.html
There's also a good link under the photo showing how to erect it.

When you order the Verona, does it come complete with the front panel and door? What is the optional "detachable roof awning" at 369 Euro?
Is there a UK distributor?

No, you have to order the front panel with door separately - and pay separately for the delivery of it! The Bax website can be a bit confusing between the Verona and the Bologna but the Verona on its own is the canopy with the removable sides and the front is an extra. Only the Bologna has the additional roof canopy that can be fitted on the front of the fully made up awning, for extra shade. We have the Verona with the front. Frantone has the full Bologna.

From memory, ours was about €1500 altigether with the Eriba rain strip thingy and delivery.

Thinking of ordering a verona for our new 310 gt, can you tell me blueyonder if the base verona comes with the side windows, the wheel cover and lower valance and the sealing cushions for the side of the body and also if it has window blinds. I know i will have to order the front and gutter strip as extras. Just want to make sure I order everything i need, as you say the bax site is not great.

Any info most appreciated.

Cheers

John

Hi there :) Yes to all of the first bit except the curtains, these are extra and I thought they were expensive for what they are and thought they would easily get grubby as they are plain white, or almost white.

One thing I couldn't work out before buying, was whether you can easily get the front out of the way when the sun comes out. Well, you can roll the whole front up to the top bar and tie it off which means it's very quick to roll down if it hacks it down with rain again.

Great, thanks for the response, hopefully I can order the rights bits and bobs now, i'll probably pass on the curtains then and maybe make my own.

Cheers

John
