Hi Barny, the weight thing is a real surprise but you've obviously put in the right numbers. Might be worth using another calculation site as well, just as a double check.
As I said, the Towcar site gave your car/caravan (using heaviest Troll) a 70% match which is well inside the recommended maximum of 85%.

I never believe anything I'm told and only half believe what I say myself

Any warning lights on the control box? There are 3 on mine, all with some purpose. At least that would indicate power getting to the control box. I wouldn't have thought that you would need to wind the rollers on to the tyres just to test the unit, just watch them spin.

On my Reich, when I liven up the remote I can hear the relays click in the control unit, always good to hear that at least there is some communication going on :)

Good luck :)

This is a new model Eriba isn't it? In which case there is a 12v isolation system which cuts off the 12 v supply whenever the car is connected. The supply has to be reactivate by using the isolation switch.
i.e. It disconnects automatically but does not reconnect automatically. Could this be part of the mover problem?

[quote="barny"|p28382]Hi and thank you for your swift response. I found a red plastic key that fits (after removing plastic cap) under the seat and yes, next to the main box on the other side. I turned that on but no luck, I had assumed that the drive wheels were moved to the tyres automatically but have since discovered that I have to wind them to the tyres. So tomorrow I'll do that and try it with and without the mains switched on. Also on a Kronings video(all in Danish) the operator pressed both left and right buttons on the remote at the same time, so I'll do that too

Hi there just realised I think we have this motor mover at least the remote looks the same and hopefully you have it working by now? but if not I may be able to help, the main tip being timing when you switch it on the red key and then the remote control press and hold for green light and allow 10 secs for remote to speak to unit and then engage rollers left and right on to wheels it works better being closer to control unit under van nearside but if you stop a while you will need to restart process from red key! always hold remote pointing at you when manoeuvring so you get her to go in right direction! great piece of kit for parking up at home next to cars and got us off a very muddy pitch this week

We tow a Troll 550 with a 2008 BMW 120d Convertible. Towed for 1000's of miles with no issues.
If your Triton is less than the 85% guide and within the cars max limit you will be fine.
