Shortly to leave from a trip to Darlo until Friday, Just the car to a hotel. Carole worried, I am not - we'll just take it easy and watch out for all the silly b*g*e*S

Were just back from a long weekend in Essex where the fog was really thick and, each morning, everything outside was absolutely soaking. There was no rain but the canopy (Isabella Shadow) had puddles of water in it. We could feel the fog condensing on us as we walked about and the trees and nearby barn roof dripped incessantly although 'dripped' is an inadequate description for the amount of water falling off! Then this morning we packed up and hitched up in sunshine!

Have a lovely time away Derek and Carole :) and hope the weather improves for you. We are going away with friends to Oxford this weekend to an hotel (is it a hotel or an hotel?!). We never do hotels anymore so it will be quite the occasion for us! Our friends have a motorhome, big unsightly thing, but getting them to go anywhere under 65 degrees temps is impossible! It's probably been in storage for ages already.

Cheers, we had no fog on the journey, jst very very dull. No holdups, used suspenders, and an easy five and a bit hours including a lunch stop then Carole drove from Nottingham area. Reasonable hotel Blackwell Grange and good night out last night. This is like a blog on FB but it'sn't

Home safely yesterday in 5 1/2 hours and considering most of the motorways are on 50 speed limits, wasn't too bad, on a Friday, including 30 mins stop.
