Now isn't that silly. I've just looked it up on You Tube and there are a number of episodes listed. However, when I click on any of them we are barred from viewing them in the UK because they are the product of C4
Randa

Well just for interest I went on to You Tube to see for myself If the film could not be downloaded, and have found that I can download episodes 1-2-3-4 no bother at all. Strange!! Maybe it's because we are on the I.O.W.

I'm not too sure as to whether location plays a part in this although from experience it does for certain music titles for which licenses have not been issued for various countries.
The OH and I have watched every episode of the earlier series although they have been of varying quality - acceptable but nothing exceptional like HD. This is because other uses have made copies and uploaded them rather than the programme makers - Ch4 - themselves although I could be wrong of course.

Roger

Channel 4 Catch Up has the programmes, Venice, Canal du Midi etc so no need for Youtube.

I guess they get repeat advertising so block it.

Had a look at that site but I thought that the information that they wanted to know about you to join the site was very intrusive.

You can always make stuff up - I invented a name, an email address and a random postcode and it let me register without any trouble. I couldn't really make up a gender because it was either the one I am or the other one.

If you think sites like this are asking for more information than you're prepared to give, invent something and see if it works.

I am not clear as to what information you consider "very intrusive".

They request your

1) name (not unreasonable)
2) address (copyright issues)
3) age (watershed issues).
4) e-mail address and password (login)

If you do not like the above, do as Pepe suggests and copy the average teenager and lie. This is preferable to using Youtube who deprive Channel 4 of the advertising income which fund programmes such as Tim and Pru's escapades..

However, I understand the BBC will be expecting similar information and your TV License number to access iPlayer come September, which will not be so easy to get round.

Has anyone been following the new series? It started a week ago on Sunday 29th October with a trip on the Norfolk Broads.

Last night's episode sees Tim and Pru drinking and bumping their way along the Marne-Rhine Canal in the Alsace region of France. Very relaxing and often a quite funny TV programme.

Sundays at 8pm on Channel 4.

Looks like our friends are starting a new adventure tonight. Pru and Tim are exploring NW Portugal. A stunning area. They are in Porto tonight so look out for a lot of drinking C4 8pm.
