Some might say that's just being gobby but hopefully some useful stuff too, I missed the earliest days not being one of the original 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse who proudly declared Eriba ownership should be fun as well as something to be proud of.
I was however there in time to see the "management team" reach into their own pockets to make their new creation add free.

And after some trawling of google I was eventually able to see where the interesting members of another place had migrated too, and joined them.

since that time I have watched (and added to) a vast repository of Eriba knowledge that can be found in the sections located here

Which in my humble opinion (I might be biased) has grown to be one of the largest English language information and help based places on the web, all this in a little over 2 years is remarkable.

Originally planned as somewhere for Eriba owners to have a laugh and a joke without having to look over the shoulder and worry about the "drivel" being deleted and ending up on the "naughty step" .............it has become so much more over the last 2 years and has maintained the spirit of
If its not too rude or offensive or racist then its ok, the usual "politics and religion excluded" should be applicable as with any other forum as they tend to rapidly get heated.
A place where going off topic is not an offence (guilty myself)
However since my elevation to the dizzy heights of moderator (something I took my time deciding whether to accept or not) I have only had to intervene once and then with great reluctance.


Eriba owners strike me as being exceptional people who are really well behaved and enjoy their caravans.

Over the last 2 years I have attended 2 forum meets and met personally lots of new personal friends as well as meeting lots of nice people here on this forum.
Read some great travelogues (and wrote the odd one too)
Sprayed tea all over the keyboard laughing at some of the stuff posted and generally had a great time being here long may it continue
