Gas regulators - still confused.

Our little vintage Puck came from Holland with a 7.5 kg propane cylinder and a 30mbar tank-top regulator. Unlike uk propane bottles this one has a male thread on the bottle and a female on the regulator. I'd like to stick with propane. But all the UK type tank-top propane regulators seem to be 37mbar. I seem to recall a website offering various adapters but cant find it now. So... adapt the current regulator, fit a 37mbar regulator or see if my reg fits a uk butane bottle?

We only use Camping Gaz as most of our touring is done abroad. Other folk use a combination of both.

Here's an interesting brief video:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Y0tLtKXf08

Interesting short video but in my humble opinion 2 important safety considerations failed to get a mention:--

(a) one should always ensure that where connections/adapters have an 'O' ring that these are in good condition and are in place.

(b) after making any connection always check for gas leakage by doing a soapy water test. To do this mix a bit of washing-up liquid in a cup, add a bit of water and stir to make frothy. With a small brush apply the soapy mixture around all points of connection and check that no bubbles are being blown as a result of gas leaking past the joint. This is especially important when, as shown in the first part of the video, a pipe is being connected to the regulator. As a matter of safety, one should always check that any new connections made are gas tight.

The Gaslow adapter neatly converted my Dutch-spec bottle top 30mb regulator to fit a standard 6kg calor propane bottle. Even has a neat handwheel to allow bottle replacement without a spanner. Sorted.
