new roof or roof repair needed

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have been through and searched for a thread that's similar to mine for advice before asking however I've not been able to find anything. Here's my problem. I have a '92 Puck and the roof wont close properly. It stays up fine but cannot be towed without being strapped down.

The metal frame has come away from the inside of the the roof itself. Therefore I need to find a way of attaching the two together again. On closer inspection there has been expanding foam placed in between the two and two non-standard handles on the inside that are used to open and close the roof. If I put too much pressure on these, the inside would come away completely.

Any advice will be very much appreciated. Please see attached photos. Which are upside down (sorry)

Hi I notice that you posted a similar thread in July of this year where this problem was discussed.

poptop problems

At about the same time another member had a similar problem with the roof of his Eribacar and I posted a photo of our Eriba showing the large angle bracket which, I presume, holds the fibreglass top section down. Hope it's of some help.
