In my part of SE London sparrows are a thing of the past, not seen one for about 5 years. The local population of magpies do a good job of hunting out collard dove, blackbird and any other nests. For some reason crows are cowards and get chased off by smaller birds when they try. Robins, wrens, dunnetts and goldcrest still have a space though.

Don't you just love the good old BBC ?

It's nearer 10:30am on this bright and frosty morning so just enough time for a second cup of tea and catching up on a bit of telly before getting on with other things.

The choice is :- Dion Dublin looking at selling off cheap houses to cash rich people who can add a sprinkle of builders dust to them before renting them out to some hard up families..........or the subject of detransition.
Of course we could always click onto BBC News to see what Boris Trump is up to

I've just discovered, while discussing a Triton with a Frenchman, that "Newt" in English translates to "Triton" in French.

If you know any Triton owners it speaks volumes doesn't it?
