Hi there, we are now the proud owners of this very Toinette, discussed above. It's a 1975 Toinette, most of the features and parts are original except for the fridge which had sadly been replaced with a modern 240v mini fridge.
I've done a lot of research and not much information is available about the Toinettes but according to a French newspaper (about a Toinette that was stolen in "Brain" France a few years ago) only 6 original Toinette's remain in France. I have found one other being restored on Youtube in the UK, so that leaves ours as the 8th potentially still in existence.

As per Randa France's wondering, we believe our Toinette was taken accross the pond by a Frenchman moving to the UK, and later sold to the Scottish Gentleman owner before ourselves.

I'm hoping to start a dedicated post on this fantastic forum about this Eriba with pictures of our work restoring her and hoping to seek advice.
