12v on 420

Hi does anyone no why 12v socket on fridge side were i plug tv in stopped working no power to it, lights work fine with power off fuses ok

Is it the TV not working or the socket?

The Socket , Try sat nav in it to no power there

It sounds like you've got a slightly different arrangement to us Alan. We have a cigarette lighter type plug on ours which I believe, is fused separately.

Some plugs have a built in fuse as shown here

but if you already tried more than one thing in the socket it can't be a plug unless you are using an extension lead and tried with that plugged in if so remove the extension and try directly into the socket

Try changing the fuses anyway ...........I have seen one where it failed inside the plastic, looked perfect just didn't work.

Thanks Hob Yes tried the Fuse on a Meter in is ok ,Done away with extension lead sat nav lead works in the car but not in Caravan

The only option left then is a fault \ loose wire between the socket and the fuse box.

Hi Hob found the fault ,As i pulled 12 v wire out i must have pulled a wire lose in the box behind Fridge thanks for helping me look further such a silly thing all working again Regards Alan .
