Unfortunately, it will continue to decline as long as there is uncertainty over Brexit, it was 1.42 at Christmas. I hope you stocked up then.
According to the City, in whom we all have complete faith of course, Brexit would mean a 20% devaluation against the Euro. So I guess £1.00 : Euro 1.10 is likely if not lower.
On the bright side, the headline in the Huffington Post called Boris "Vicky Pollard, Yes, But, No, But, Yes......."

As Charlie says, uncertain times ahead, its likely to alter with the opinion poll results as time goes on.
With Boris putting his oar in the water it has not helped.
If it were me I would be tempted to get what I needed now, as soon as you can, who knows where it may be next week?

Yet another blow to my OAP and Employment Pension as both are paid in GBP but converted to Euros before being paid into my overseas bank account.
Yes, a lower pound does indeed mean cheaper exports but of course the inverse is true, what is imported will cost more.
I keep my fingers crossed that eventually - perhaps not in my lifetime - the Brits will stop thinking of themselves as an Empire and join in the real world - warts and all.

Fortunately we had a few hundred left over from last year Charlie but we needed to top them up as part of this year's trip involves Germany and they don't like UK Credit and Debit Cards, especially in Supermarkets and Fuel Stations.
We were caught out when we last visited Germany in 2012.

A word of caution
A controversial topic like this has under the current political circumstances the potential to inflame opinions and it would be all too easy in the heat of the moment for someone to post comments that they wouldn't dream of saying to someone's face and might later regret.
So please remember that while we are pretty liberal about what we allow to be discussed on the forum and generally delight in off-topic and amusing contributions, we are after all a forum for people with a passion for Eriba caravans and not a vehicle for political debate.
Thank you for your co-operation.
