...car problems involved taking the distributor cap off and cleaning the contact on the end of the rotor arm. Or spraying a bit of WD40 over the plug leads if it was raining. Or driving more gingerly round right hand bends because the nearside CV joint was growling.
This is copied from another forum. How things have changed:
"I have a pre-FL C7 with tech pack.
I've noticed as the number of gadgets in the car increases, this causes the wi fi to stop working. Well the devices connect but there's no internet access.
On a family road trip with four of us, that's four phones connecting and add in a couple of ipads in the back. it works for a while and then stops. The only way to fix it is to stop and restart the data connection module.
Anyone noticed this - is there a fix. At the last services Audi were clueless and didn't understand what the issue was."
In case you were desperate to know and wouldn't be able to relax unless you did, a pre-FL C7 is the pre-facelift version of the latest version of the Audi A6.
Funny how forums are full of people obsessed with things that are of absolutely no interest to anyone else.
Erm....

Yes, but we've never felt the need to have four phones and two iPads connected to the wifi in the car. Not that we've got wifi in the car anyway.
Our kids would have played I-Spy for about five minutes then accused each other of cheating and started a fight.
Can't make four phones and two iPads work in the car?
Sheesh.
I never thought I'd say it because it's not a phrase I'm over keen on, but that really is a First World problem.
Having a car isn't about driving it any more. It's what all the gadgets do. Gadgets like reversing cameras, virtual overhead views or self-parking.
If you can't park without the car's help, you shouldn't be driving.

With all those phones and tablets connected to the car wifi, check the band with being used, it could be that you are simply trying to get too much through the proverbial pipe.

Top of the range models of my new car (not mine)automatically call the emergency services if you have a crash and provide a sat nav reference to the emergency services.
Providing there is not already 4 mobile phones and two tablets using all the bandwidth
One wonders if there is a robot hand equipped with toilet paper under the dash ready (just in case)
