Hi All,

Quick question.

I have begun restoring My 1960/70s Puck, and noticed that the internal walls ( sides) are covered by a sort of vinyl, in fact, it would appear that the vinyl on the sides is a continuation of the headliner. I believe this to be original.

Does any body know, where I may be able to obtain another liner kit for the headliner and walls? Mine is completely ruined, so I will certainly need to replace it.

Thanks,

John

Call Jandi and ask them.

Make a big pot of tea and have several packets of digestives ready before you ring.

A couple of years ago, a classic Puck owner was looking to replace the badly soiled wall fabric and after posting a photograph, the existing fabric looked almost like hessian.

We posted this link to self adhesive (and fire retard) hessian :- http://www.fabricuk.com/fabrics/391-self...-retardant.html ( it can be obtained elsewhere in various colours) and the owner went ahead and re-lined it. We've not seen the end result except in photographs but the owner was very pleased with it.

The original vinyl is wafer thin and really any vinyl could be used. the problem is to hang it you have to staple it at the top middle and bottom. you also may have to take out the window rubbers as the vinyl is staple on the actual frame. With a bit of mucking around you may be able to work around it. I lined mine with board but it is difficult. Someone posted a link recently to a German website. RANDA will know which one. He gives you a photo account of how to reline a Puck.
