Steadies or not when

Hi, everyone.
When you're on the road and you stop for lunch and hop in the Eriba, it's still attached to the car. Is it necessary to lower the steadies or is it ok to sit in the van without?

If you sit at the front you will exceed the tow hitch and towbar nose weight and if you sit at the back the van will try to tip back stressing them again.

So I would say yes lower the steadies, or sit in the car.

Jockey wheel down at least, take the extra weight off your towbar, but if going in the back.... Could make for an interesting picture if the hitch comes off the car!

Always steadies down. The van just feels more secure.

Thank you. I felt that the steadies should be down, but hubby said not necessary. I'll put them down next time!!!
