Hi all,
whilst attempting to level the van up on one side with the mover by moving it onto a hard plastic leveller, the opposite mover roller just spins against the tyre causing the van to turn outwards on the side where the leveller is situated.
I then removed the plastic leveller and engaged the mover roller up to the tyre that I'd been trying to move onto the leveller. I then checked the roller on the other side of the van to find that it was 5mm away from the tyre. When I then moved that roller onto the tyre (which would have moved the other roller a further 5mm onto the tyre) and tried to move onto the plastic leveller, the same thing happened.
The rollers are obviously not in distance sync from the tyre, and I guess it will need correcting by a service engineer, but I was wondering if anyone else had had a similar problem and if so if it is a diy job?.
Also, when attempting to level as above, should I be using the mover at all or should I use the car?
Any comments much appreciated.
